Are You The Daughter of a Narcissistic Mother?

Did you read "I'm Glad My Mom Died" and feel that much of it resonated with you?

Did you watch "Mommy Dearest" and be reminded of your own mother?

Do you ever feel that your mother is jealous of you?

Does your mother treat your siblings better than she treats you?

Do you feel like you are constantly walking a tightrope between good enough so that your mother can brag about you, but not so good that you outshine her?

Do you ever wonder if your mother might be a narcissist?

If so, then this e-book might help you to figure it out.

The DSM is used by mental health professionals to define, classify, and diagnose, mental health conditions. According to the DSM, if a person consistently displays five of the nine traits of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, they are diagnosable. If your experience of your mother is that she exhibits at least five of these traits, then - while you can't definitively offer a diagnosis - you can say "My experience tells me that my mother meets the threshold to be diagnosed."

Disclaimer: It is impossible to diagnose anyone at a remove. This e-book does not attempt to do so. Instead, it presents the nine traits of narcissism as identified in the DSM-5, and a series of situations to help you to identify what each of them might look like in real life.
